Stereoscope View

biology help please!?
when you a shine a strong light on a leaf using a stereoscope
how does this way of lighting an object allow you to observe objects that cannot be viewed under a compound microscope
and
why do things look 3d under the stereoscope
please help me :
The leaf is translucent which means light passes through it and illuminates the veining and cell structure. Things look 3D under a stereoscope because it takes two views and overlaps them the way you do with both eyes focused on one thing.

Technology $15 Throughout history, our sensory transformation has been predicated on newly invented machinery and instruments, from the camera obscura to the stereoscope to the multimedia apparatuses of today. In the perspective paintings of the Renaissance, the train sickness works of the 19th century, and the helicopter view of modern times, artists reveal their role as mediums of the new, pioneers who, through their incorporation and absorption of new technologies, subtly introduce them into the general consciousness. |
