Is it possible to use a flash trigger (for off camera flashes) with the Nikon d3000?
I have a Nikon D3000 camera and want to use an off camera flash for some shots that I want to take. does anyone know if the D3000 is compatible with this?
Yes
The RF602’s are excellent triggers (I have some I use with Nikon gear). You will have to control the flash output manually on the flash – you won’t have TTL (auto flash metering) using these triggers.
I can also recommend the Yongnuo 460-II and 560 manual flashes too – excellent value for money.
A YN560 & RF602 will cost you around £70.
